Measured over 4 weeks before the engagement began and 4 weeks about 10 months later.
A venture-backed telehealth company offers insurance-covered therapy to a specific patient population that often searches alongside family caregivers. When the company came to Momentic, its website ranked on Google's first page for a handful of keywords. The people it serves were searching for help with symptoms and life changes, and other websites answered those searches.
The company asked Momentic to build organic search into a patient acquisition channel, in a category where Google expects medical accuracy and visible clinical expertise.
Momentic set the content strategy around the questions patients and caregivers type into search, then wrote monthly briefs for the company's writers. The company's clinical director reviewed the drafts for medical accuracy before they went live. Briefs specified the questions each page answers, the sections to cover and the evidence to cite, with sources placed as numbered footnotes so the claims and their sources stay together.
Momentic also specified specialty pages and state pages, worked through Core Web Vitals fixes, added structured data to provider profiles and page templates, and corrected template issues that kept posts off category pages.
In 2026 Momentic added an AI search program, tracking the company's brand and category prompts in Atlas, Momentic's measurement platform. Momentic now uses that data with Search Console data to choose which existing pages to update each month.
Between the 4 weeks before the engagement and a 4-week period about 10 months later, average weekly clicks from Google organic search rose 10.8x and weekly organic sessions rose 11.0x. Keywords ranking in Google's top 10 grew roughly 200-fold from a single-digit starting count. Most of the new traffic comes from non-branded searches, and the company's top blog posts now earn more organic clicks than its homepage.
By mid-October 2026, Google's AI Overviews, the AI-written answers at the top of Google results, cited the company's website 1,329 times across 90 pages, up from 17 citations across 8 pages eleven months earlier. Nearly all of those citations point to the company's articles, the content Momentic briefed.
