Press Release
MILWAUKEE – MAY 10, 2018 — Momentic, a digital marketing agency specializing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), is leaving stealth mode today. The startup is also disclosing investment from Milwaukee-based Granular, with Jordon Meyer and Steve Kroll announced as co-owners in the new venture.
With dedicated offices in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, Momentic is founded and run by SEO veteran, Ben LeFort. LeFort previously consulted under the auspices of Dolomite Marketing. Prior to this, he helped lead the Search Engine Optimization department at Menomonee Falls-based Rocket Clicks.
Momentic helps their customers get found online via Search Engine Optimization services. This includes helping websites become more search engine friendly, advising and implementing content strategies and building high quality backlinks. The end result is measurable increases in traffic from organic search engine results, leading to bottom-line business impact. Since the company’s formation in January (2018), Momentic has hired two full-time employees and seen revenues grow by 200%+. Clients include 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, Nameplates for Industry and Chicago Scenic Studios, to name a few.
“I saw the positive response from clients I consulted with that appreciated my transparent, white-hat approach to SEO. When Jordon and Steve approached me last year about taking my experience from consulting to the next level and pitched the idea of me building the SEO-only agency we all wished existed but didn’t, I got really excited,” said LeFort
“At Granular, we’ve been getting asked to do SEO since we opened for business in 2014,” explains Jordon Meyer. “We turned that work down for the first two years, most times not even feeling comfortable referring out the work because of how hard it is to find reliable SEO consultants. In 2017, we started actively referring SEO work to Ben’s consulting practice. The feedback we received from our network we referred his way was overwhelmingly positive. Helping start Momentic made a lot of sense.
In the short term, Momentic aims to grow organically through referrals and their professional network. The longer term plan is to scale the team by hiring additional SEO experts, allowing the firm to work on larger scale projects.
“We have big ambitions for what Momentic can become. If the growth we’ve experienced during our stealth period is any indication, we’ll get there sooner than we planned. That said, we’d love to follow a similar blueprint as Granular: be experts in one area and find great companies who prefer to work with an expert versus an agency that is a generalist,” says LeFort.
Momentic is hosting an open house event at their offices Wednesday, June 6th from 4-7pm. In addition to learning more about Momentic, guests can enjoy complimentary food and beverages. Interested attendees can RSVP by emailing info@momenticmarketing.com
